Within the last three decades, A. Kim Saal, M.D., Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Mount Auburn Hospital, has seen the tremendous breakthroughs in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. With the help of generous patients, friends, family and community members, Mount Auburn Hospital opened The Saal Family Cardiovascular Center in 2008 in honor of Dr. Saal for his continued dedication to his patients.

The Saal Family Cardiovascular Center offers full-service cardiovascular care. “When you have any questionable symptoms of cardiovascular disease, such as chest pain, shortness of breath or fatigue, your primary care physician will refer you to us,” says Dr. Saal. “Then, we perform diagnostic tests, like stress tests, electrocardiograms, ultrasounds or heart monitoring, to determine if there is a heart condition.”
